I’ve been a Christian counselor in Austin for 7 years working primarily with individuals, couples and families. Before starting Revive Counseling my first 5 years of practice were at the Center For Relational Care www.relationalcare.org.
The heart of my practice has been devoted to helping comfort and restore people affected by pain brought on by destructive theology and church experiences. I grew up in a family involved in Christian ministry and understand the unique impact that American Christianity can have on believers.
I am a licensed Professional Counselor by the state of Texas and hold a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Masters of Arts in Counseling from St. Edward’s University in Austin, TX. I have been blessed by my personal journey and 14 year healing process under the guidance of John Smeltzer, ThM, LPC in Ft. Worth, TX. I am grateful that God has also given me insight, understanding and experience of His ways to restore and heal people and to specialize in people’s healing.
My husband Joshua and I live with our 3 children in Austin, where we enjoy being together as a family.
